PURPOSE OF A TRAILER

 The purpose of a trailer is to:
  • Attract an audience
  • Advertise an upcoming film
  • Give a taster of the film
  • Show the actors
  • Show the genre
  • Helps the film company tell how much interest there is
  • Shows a unique selling point - Special Effects, 3D, Actors
